Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Storekeeper in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, while maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with project managers.

Responsibilities include lot validation, stock rotation, documentation, and occasional loading/unloading. Forklift operation may be required; NC II certification is a plus. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Assist with loading/unloading and coordinate with suppliers and project managers.

Your future role:

Receiving and Validation:

• Receiving incoming materials and supplies, validating next to purchase orders and packing lists.


• Inspecting materials on its physical condition: i.e; good stock, damage or physical discrepancies vs documents.

Storage and Organization:

• Storing materials in an organized and accessible manner, ensuring proper stock rotation.


• Maintaining a clean and safe storage area.

Inventory Management:

• Maintaining accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.


• Monitoring stock levels and placing replenishment orders as needed.


• Conducting regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

Issuing Materials:

• Issuing materials and supplies to authorized personnel based on requisitions.


• Ensuring materials are issued in the correct quantities and quality.

Documentation:

• Maintaining accurate records of receipts, issues, and inventory levels.


• Preparing and distributing documentation related to materials and supplies.

Other Duties:

• Assisting with loading and unloading materials.


• Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (if applicable).


• Coordinating with suppliers and project managers.


• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills: Ability to keep track of inventory and ensure materials are readily available.


• Attention to detail: Accuracy in record-keeping and material handling is crucial.


• Basic math skills: Ability to perform calculations related to inventory and quantities.


• Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move materials, potentially including heavy items.


• Knowledge of inventory management systems: Familiarity with manual or computerized inventory tracking software.


• Experience in a construction or warehouse environment: Previous experience as a storekeeper or similar role is a plus.


• Forklift certification (if applicable): Ability to safely operate forklifts is essential for certain activities. Certified NC II holder.
