Job summary

MR DIY Philippines in Virac Center Mall seeks a Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor to lead daily store operations and drive sales. The role requires strong leadership, merchandising skills, and the ability to coach a team while maintaining standards and a safe shopping environment.

The successful candidate will manage display setup, customer service, and staff performance, ensuring compliance with SOPs and legal requirements in a busy retail setting at Virac Center Mall.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in any field.
• Fluent in Filipino and English.
• 5 years of working experience in retail industry.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills.
• Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up experience in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the store’s sales achievement and growth.
• Set up gondolas and merchandise display.
• Ensure that the store’s daily operation is properly managed.
• Keep the store tidy and clean.
• Organize and arrange merchandise in the product selling area.
• Greet and serve customers.
• Maintain stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Recruit, select, train, coach and discipline employees; monitor and appraise job responsibilities.
• Provide constructive guidance to team on effective operations.
• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Daily bank-in of store sales.
• Stocking and ordering own-use items and small notes needed.
• Complete, update and report to HQ and Superior.
• Send documents related to HQ and Superior.
• Work within established guidelines and SOP.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the Asst Branch Manager/ Branch Manager.
