Job summary

Top Line Business Development Corporation in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee restaurant operations, including kitchen, dining, and service standards. You will lead and coach a team, manage inventory, and ensure cost control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 2–3 years in restaurant operations with supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and ability to work shifting schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in restaurant/food service operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of store operations including kitchen, counter, dining, inventory and staff management.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise, coach, and motivate employees to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales performance and operating costs, inventory levels, product quality, and efficiency.
• Control food, labor costs and waste; manage inventory.
• Conduct staff briefings, orientation, performance monitoring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare staff schedules, payroll summaries, and operational reports.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

• With 2–3 years of experience in restaurant, café, food service, or related operations, preferably with supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of overall store operations, including kitchen, counter, dining, customer service, inventory, and staff management.

• Proven ability to lead, supervise, coach, and motivate employees to achieve operational and service standards.

• Knowledgeable in sales, food and labor cost control, inventory management, and waste reduction.

• Able to monitor sales performance, operating costs, inventory levels, product quality, and operational efficiency.

• Familiar with FIFO inventory management, portion control, food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle and resolve customer complaints professionally.

• Able to conduct staff briefings, employee orientation, performance monitoring, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Experienced in preparing staff schedules, payroll summaries, operational reports, and other management reports.

• Knowledgeable in cash handling, petty cash management, change funds, and basic financial controls.

• Able to monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, functionality, ambience, and overall appearance of the store.

• Strong organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Results-oriented and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
