Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.

Job description

Store manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day store operations. Working on the shop floor, he/she is in constant contact with their customers and staff. Responsible for ensuring sales staff to give great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths in coordination with operations and HR
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services; maintaining inventories.
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Perform other related task as maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/College in any field
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Assistant Manger/Manager specialized in Sales- Retail/General
• Proven leadership,business management and presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• With good analytical skills
• Has an organized and systematic work process.
