Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is looking for a qualified cashier to join our Mindanao store. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or a related four-year course, with POS experience and a proven ability to provide quality customer service.

You will operate registers, balance cash, process payments, issue receipts, and handle exchanges or refunds while maintaining an orderly checkout area and an accurate cash drawer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Business or any 4-year course) is required.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring prices and quantities are accurate and providing receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
