Job summary

MR DIY Philippines in Mindanao seeks a Store Cashier who has a bachelor’s degree (Business or any 4-year course) and cashiering experience, preferably with POS exposure. You will provide quality customer service and handle payments with accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating registers and scanners, balancing the cash drawer, issuing receipts, processing exchanges, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course)
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
• Average communication and people skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to work in Mindanao

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
