Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking an experienced manufacturing technician to support assembly, calibration, testing, and maintenance of production equipment at our site in the Philippines. You will follow established facility processes and work as part of a team to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.

Typically, candidates have 3-4 years of related experience and a high school diploma, with AA degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Operating production equipment for assembly and packaging.
• Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematics to ensure specs and tolerances.
• Assist in equipment modification and design for process improvements and quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing and assembling products per established processes.
• Set-up, calibration, testing, and maintenance of equipment.

Job Overview

Performs basic activities to assist in manufacturing and assembling various products per established facility processes including set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance, and production operation.

Job Requirements

• Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
• Operating basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Assisting as part of manufacturing team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.

What your background should look like

Typically requires 3-4 years or more of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
