Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a platform engineer to design and operate large-scale distributed systems, enabling AI model training and inference in production. You will scale resources, implement robust observability, and drive best practices across deployment pipelines.

You will collaborate across time zones, mentor engineers, and help shape infrastructure that prevents outages through self-healing patterns and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems (Kubernetes, Pulumi, NATS, Redis).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and incident handling experience.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash and programming in Python or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex development activities in cloud deployment and distributed system maintenance.
• Scale GPU/CPU resources and maintain platform infrastructure using Kubernetes, Pulumi, Terraform-like tooling.
• Build monitoring, alerting and observability tooling with Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalents.
• Mentor engineers through RFCs, docs, and pairing sessions.
