Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. seeks a Staff Nurse (LBCLC Certified) to provide evidence-based lactation consultations for antenatal and postnatal mothers. You will perform bedside assessments in maternity wards and support outpatient lactation services.

You will lead prenatal breastfeeding classes, support infant feeding workshops, and collaborate with obstetricians and ward teams to create tailored mother‑infant plans. SNB registration and IBCLC are required.

• IBCLC credential required.

As a Staff Nurse (LBCLC Certified), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide individualized, evidence-based lactation consultations to antenatal and postnatal mothers, addressing challenges such as latching difficulties, engorgement, low supply, and nipple trauma.

• Conduct bedside consultations in maternity wards, follow up on complex breastfeeding cases, and support outpatient parent‑craft/lactation clinics.

• Facilitate prenatal breastfeeding classes, infant feeding workshops, and maternal‑infant bonding guidance for new parents and families.

• Perform routine maternal and neonatal assessments, monitor post‑delivery recovery, and ensure safe medication administration in accordance with hospital protocols.

• Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, midwives, and ward teams to design and execute tailored mother‑infant feeding plans.

• Serve as a subject‑matter resource for general ward nurses, championing baby‑friendly hospital practices and clinical lactation guidelines.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing and registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

• Valid IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) credential is required.
