Job summary

XDOF in the Philippines is seeking a full‑stack engineer who can own end‑to‑end embodied AI deployments on robots, from sensors and data pipelines through to model deployment and on‑site tuning. You will maintain data collection systems, calibrate cameras (ZED/RealSense), integrate robotic arms, and implement imitation learning algorithms, working across ROS2, Python, and C++ in a fast‑paced hardware lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Robotics, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with Linux environment debugging.
• Expert in ROS2, including node communication mechanisms, parameters, and the Launch system.
• Hands-on experience with camera systems (ZED/RealSense) and camera calibration.
• Experience with robotic arms (UR/Franka/xArm) and driver-level interfaces, kinematics, and APIs.
• Experience training and deploying deep learning models; proficient in PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and iterate on the embodied AI data collection system, including multimodal sensor synchronization and data pipelines.
• Own integration, calibration, and maintenance of camera systems and robotic arms to keep equipment operational.
• End-to-end deployment of imitation learning algorithms on robots, including data collection, training, inference, and on-site tuning.
• Drive data quality assurance: timestamp sync, coordinate alignment, data anomaly detection, repair of collection failures.
• Define and maintain robot-side software interfaces and communication protocols (ROS2 / DDS) for replication across platforms and sites.
• Support on-site data collection and algorithm deployment, produce technical documentation, and improve collection efficiency and model performance.
