Fireworks AI in the Philippines seeks a Member of Technical Staff for the Traffic Infrastructure team to own the traffic layer behind our generative AI platform. You’ll design scalable, fault-tolerant networking services and collaborate across ML, product, and platform teams to guide technical direction.

We value deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud networking, and a track record of optimizing performance, cost, and reliability at scale.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in backend or network infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Strong coding in Go, C++, Rust, or Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and networking.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and build scalable, fault-tolerant traffic and networking services, including ingress/egress, load balancing, routing, and QoS controls.
• Lead technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and establish best practices for operating large-scale infrastructure.
• Drive network optimization, cost reduction, performance tuning, and remove scaling bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and integrate cloud-native/open-source tech (Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio) to strengthen platform reliability.
• Own systems end to end from design through deployment and observability with high availability.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing for deep health insights.
