Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This role reports to the Finance and Accounting Manager of Argentina and focuses on improving the close process and reinforcing SOX controls across subsidiaries.

You will own GL reconciliations, support month-end close, and help ensure compliance with company policies while collaborating with cross-functional teams across treasury, legal, FP&A, and international locations. Excel proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure activities are recorded properly.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist month-end close.
• Improve accounting processes and shorten close cycle.
• Oversee third-party bookkeepers for foreign subsidiaries.
• Support SOX internal controls.
• Support external audits and prepare schedules and analyses.
• Lead ad hoc accounting projects.
