We're adding a Staff Accountant to our Manila team. This is a mid‑shift role where you will be a genuine member of our US finance team, supporting the US interests of our parent company in real time, not as a support act but as part of the core team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and recording journal entries across asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts for multiple service locations
• Running month‑end, quarter‑end, and annual close procedures
• Preparing monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations
• Supporting external financial audits with schedules and documentation
• Pulling together ad‑hoc expense variance explanations from transaction data
• Supporting process improvements and centralisation across the finance team
• Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)
• 2+ years in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in pivot tables
• CPA credential is a plus, not a dealbreaker
• Excellent attention to detail
• Clear, confident communication – able to explain a variance without overwhelming others
• A curious mindset that asks why numbers look the way they do, rather than just recording them
