Job summary

General Motors Company in Manila seeks a seasoned professional to support Global Sales Reporting, delivering world-class analytics and dashboards. You will manage user access, monitor daily activities, and translate business needs into efficient processes with IT partners.

You will develop training materials, standard reporting tools, and end-to-end test plans, collaborating across global teams and time zones to improve data consistency and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in business transformation, consulting, and project management.
• Experience with Operational Excellence, Lean, Design Thinking, or other structured methodologies.
• Cross-functional work experience with proven project delivery.
• Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate financial measurements and results.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Power BI and data analytics.
• Experience managing end-to-end test cycles.
• Willingness to work on night shift at 8pm - 5am PHT.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class support for the Global Sales Reporting function, including hyper-care activities and user access management for multiple systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business via documentation, training, and workshops to translate objectives into processes and technology enablers.
• Support communication to business users and develop training materials for a global audience.
• Develop standardized reporting tools and dashboards to enhance customer experience.
• Define business requirements and acceptance criteria to test functionality and create reusable test cases.
• Create comprehensive test plans for sprint and end-to-end validation.
• Maintain status reporting during UAT with clear escalation paths.
• Collaborate across workstreams to implement data standards and process improvements.

Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on NIGHT SHIFT . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role

The Global Ops Coe in Manila is a developing team about world class delivery, customer support, driving a disruptive shift in strategy, structure, systems, processes, and technology across the enterprise under GM Sales Services and Marketing (SSM) function.

Global Sales Reporting is GM’s gold source for our dealer network, dealer contracting, vehicle delivery & sales, and vehicle inventory.

Our team owns the systems that…

• Manages our dealer distribution network – Locations, their investors, floor planning, other…
• Stores our dealer sales & service agreement – what vehicles dealers can/cannot sell and service
• Communicates global sales counting – GM, our competitors, Joint Ventures, others…
• Supports internal and external delivery & stock performance reporting – Information used within GM, sent to government entities (i.e. Securities Exchange Commission), our investors
• Maintains vehicle information – VINs, sales history
• M anages key analytic reporting tools
• Entry point for our customer’s data

What You’ll Do

• Provide world-class support for the Global Sales Reporting function, including hyper-care activities and user access management for multiple systems, business partner support, daily monitoring, issue management support, and on-going reporting requirements sustaining multiple regions and functions
• Develop a deep understanding of the business via documentation, training, and workshops to understand business and IT partner objectives, pain-points, and opportunities, and translating them into world class processes and technology enablers
• Support communication to our business users
• Develop and present training materials to a global audience
• Develop standardized reporting tools and dashboards to enhance the customer experience
• Understand business requirements and acceptance criteria to perform a logical test to prove the functionality
• Design and maintain re‑usable test cases and test strings to confirm new functionality for current and future testing
• Create a comprehensive test plan to test all developed requirements in a sprint and to build on for an E2E test plan
• Provide and maintain clear status in reporting during UAT for responsibility, escalation, and execution
• Prepare and maintain validation evidence of test status through screen shots and test case progression
• Collaborate across workstreams to implement data standards and process improvements leveraging digital solutions
• Utilize your process improvement, system implementation, and project management skills to innovate, deliver solutions, and contribute to global transformation activities that impact the results of the company
• Update and maintain operations process, desk procedures and other documentation
• Collaborate globally and cross-functionally with various partners across different business functions to understand business processes
• Develop user stories to document business requirements, prepare user acceptance test plans, and support technology deployments

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, IT or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in business and process transformation, consulting, and project management
• Demonstrated experience leveraging Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Design Thinking, or other structured methodologies to implement process improvements
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally, in an internal or external consulting role, with proven ability to effectively execute projects and deliver results
• Detail oriented, with strong business acumen, and experience in evaluating financial measurements and project results
• Internal controls experience and knowledge
• Experience with Agile / Scrum framework
• Must have experience on Google Sheet and Google Workspace
• Must have experience on Power BI
• Must have reporting and data analytical skills
• Experience in managing end‑to‑end test cycles
• Willingness to work on night shift at 8pm - 5am PHT

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with SQL, Python, Data assets or Databricks
• Experience in developing training manuals and conducting training is preferable.
• Affinity with technology and/or familiarity with analytics tools and techniques
• Highly motivated and willing to learn and take on new challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google applications
