Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager to lead a team of 6-10 SREs supporting Google’s enterprise services. You will drive roadmaps, OKRs and lifecycle governance to improve reliability across distributed systems.

You will oversee design, capacity planning, automation, and incident response while ensuring high uptime and performance for critical services. A strong background in Kubernetes and cloud infra is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of distributed systems or cloud infrastructure experience with Kubernetes.
5+ years of people management experience.
Experience with site reliability engineering and system design.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of 6-10 site reliability engineers supporting Google’s enterprise services.
Develop roadmaps, planning, objectives and OKRs to advance maturity of managed services across the lifecycle.
Support services from design through deployment; capacity planning and launch reviews.
Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency and system health.
Scale systems through automation and drive reliability and velocity improvements.
Practice sustainable incident response to meet service level objectives.
