Job summary

NCS Group in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead software architecture, review designs, and ensure alignment with standards across projects.

You will create and maintain technical docs, collaborate with stakeholders, drive strategic technology goals, and stay current with cloud platforms, APIs, and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• Software development experience with API and SDK knowledge.
• Proficiency in PHP, Java, Python, and .NET.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of architecture design principles and patterns.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and integration protocols.
• Version control with SVN or Git.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Cloud computing architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a cloud certification.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines.
• Conduct architecture reviews to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to approved technical solutions.
• Review code, designs, and technical deliverables for alignment with architectural principles, plans, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to drive consensus on technical solutions.
• Participate in training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts with the Project Manager.
• Designs and implements long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for technology and software.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend optimal solutions.
• Assist SA team with SA related tasks.
• Contribute to initiatives to increase skills, quality & efficiency for the SA team.
• Participate in process standardization and/or improvement on SA-related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge – In-depth knowledge, strong experience and expertise on the following:
• Software development with the ability to code at some level and knowledge of APIs and SDKs
• Software development languages like PHP, Java, Python, .NET
• Infra as a Code such as Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Architecture design principles, methodologies, and best practices
• API design, and microservices architecture.
• Enterprise integration patterns is a plus
• Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
• Any integration protocols like SMPP, UCP, and HTTP, and others
• Version control (e.g. SVN, GIT).
• Debugging and optimization skills
• Collaboration and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Asana, or Trello
• Cloud computing technologies and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP). Must have a certification in any of the cloud platforms.
• Frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman is a plus
