South Meats in Imus, Cavite, seeks a Sr. Purchaser to manage price canvassing and procurement for LM-office, slaughterhouse, and process meat operations. You will handle direct purchases for maintenance needs and prepare Purchase Orders for approved items.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and solid computer proficiency to build a reliable purchasing system and ensure timely deliveries.

Job Description:

• Price canvassing and procurement of material requirements for LM-office, Slaughterhouse, and Process Meat operation particularly supplies which need to make outsourcing procurements.
• Price canvassing and direct purchase of materials and services urgently needed in repair and maintenance of machineries and equipment used in the operation of the company.
• Prepare Purchase Order of all requested material approved for purchase.
• Develop a system to record purchasing transactions to serve as a hard copy for reference purposes.
• Prepares liquidation and replenish all purchases made on a cash basis.
• Keep track and monitor BU requirements to provide the requests to the soonest possible time.
• Negotiates directly to supplier regarding price, management of consignment programs.
• Sourcing and verifying of submitted documents and details of potential suppliers/vendors for future reference source of supply.
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree (any related course).
• Three to Five Year’s, experience in purchasing and procurement.
• Excellent Communication and Persuasion Skills.
• Excellent computer Skills.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory terminology and processes, and the ability to negotiate pricing and terms.
• Good ability to work under severe time constraint.
