About the role

Our Company is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr. Geologist to join our team on a contract basis in Bulacan site. As Sr. Geologist, you will play a crucial role in driving our mining exploration and geoscience initiatives, contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct and supervise reconnaissance to detail geologic mapping of the prospective drilling areas

• Supervise and implement the exploration and production drilling program designed by the Department Head, including core logging and sampling of drill cores

• Oversee the maintenance and inventory of drilling machine, accessories and tools. Ensure the availability of drilling consumables

• Ensure the Jr. Geolohists and Mappers follow the sampling procedures instituted in the Exploration Manual

• Validate project database to be forwarded to Reosurce and Database Department

• Assist the Department Head in the preparation of periodic and other technical reports

• Ensure that all drilling activities are in compliance with industry standards and company protocols in all work areas

• Ensure compliance to safety, health and environment standards in all work areas.

• Perform other activities which may be assigned by the Immediate Head
