Job summary

NCS Group in Taguig, Metro Manila, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and test complex software solutions, aligning with the company’s standards and architectural guidelines. You will design components, implement back-end and front-end code with React and Node, perform unit tests, participate in code reviews, and support junior teammates, while coordinating with the project lead.

The role requires strong problem-solving, API/SQL experience, and track record in system design;

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing and testing complex software solutions, adhering to the organization’s best practices and standards set by the capability leads, and designing system components using appropriate modeling techniques following commonly used architectures, design standards, patterns, and methodology.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Writes working back-end, front-end, and/or mobile code using generally accepted standards and best practices.
• Resolves defects found in the code.
• Writes and conducts unit tests before endorsing to the QA team.
• Submits and maintains source code using version control system repositories.
• Participates in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Attends team meetings.
• Reports task status to immediate supervisor or project lead.
• Assists junior and mid-level resources under the same capability.

Minimum Qualifications for Web-based Senior Full Stack Software Engineers

• Experience in using at least two front-end frameworks.
• Experience with React and Node (Required).
• Experience in developing custom libraries.
• Capable of solving complex problems.
