Job summary

Collins Aerospace, RTX’s aerospace leader, is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer in Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines. You will ensure products and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations, leading quality improvement initiatives and coordinating corrective actions.

You will support audits, work with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction, and participate in QMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years in Quality Engineering, QA, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role leads quality improvement initiatives, investigates quality issues, drives corrective and preventive actions, supports audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection plans, and quality procedures.
• Monitor manufacturing and operational processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Review product specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to establish quality criteria.
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.

Problem Solving & Corrective Actions

Lead investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, and nonconforming products.

Develop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Experience handling customer quality issues and corrective action processes.

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typicaly requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
