Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will drive quality improvements, investigate issues, and coordinate CAPAs across cross-functional teams.

Based in the Philippines onsite, you will support audits, PFMEA/DFMEA, control plans, and process validation while collaborating with customer teams and suppliers for sustained quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience handling customer quality issues and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection plans, and procedures.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality requirements.
• Review specifications, drawings and customer requirements to establish quality criteria.

Senior Quality Engineer

Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role leads quality improvement initiatives, investigates quality issues, drives corrective and preventive actions, supports audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection plans, and quality procedures.
• Monitor manufacturing and operational processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Review product specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to establish quality criteria.
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.

Problem Solving & Corrective Actions

• Lead investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, and nonconforming products.
• Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as:
• 8D
• 5 Why Analysis
• Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagrams
• Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Develop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.

Quality Planning & Risk Management

• Lead or support development of:
• Process Flow Diagrams
• PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Control Plans
• Inspection Standards
• Quality Work Instructions
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.

Customer Quality Management

• Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers.
• Investigate customer complaints and coordinate timely responses.
• Prepare and submit corrective action reports.
• Participate in customer meetings, audits, and quality reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Experience handling customer quality issues and corrective action processes.
