Job Description

Responsibilities

• Help comprehend technical and functional requirements, develop, and implement business-driven requests and enhancements and software upgrades.
• Provide support and maintenance of platforms owned by the team and prepare documentation of solutions.
• Help the team create and maintain acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Help Business Analyst by giving suggestions from a quality assurance perspective regarding user experience, possible performance issues, and future bugs.
• Work with a cross-functional team to identify risks, mitigating them where possible.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in Python 3.x, SQL and web app development and data analysis.
• Experience in front end development using React (same level as python experience).
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents (e.g., Claude code, Codex, etc.) to enhance productivity, code quality, and problem-solving – leveraging AI for code generation, debugging, and documentation is highly regarded.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Docker / Linux experience
• AWS experience and/or certification will be regarded – any cloud would be acceptable
• Demonstrable ability in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to navigate through vague specifications and requirements and coordinate and engage relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fast learner, critical thinker and able to work under time pressure.
• Motivated to gain experience across a variety of technologies.
