• 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, business analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience building analytical tools, advanced dashboards, reporting automation, and self-service BI solutions for business stakeholders.
• Experience applying advanced analytics to solve business problems, generate insights, and influence strategic or operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to frame problems, define KPIs, and prioritize analytics opportunities by impact.
• Acquire, validate, clean, reconcile, and integrate data from internal and external sources while ensuring data quality.
• Build and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and automated workflows for business users.
• Develop advanced dashboards in Power BI with KPI scorecards, trend analysis, and executive insights.
• Identify GenAI use cases such as insight summarization, data exploration, and report narration with controls.
• Present findings and recommendations to leaders with clear storytelling and quantified impact.

JOB SUMMARY

Empower India Business Intelligence and Reporting Analytics team is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to translate business problems into scalable analytics solutions, advanced dashboards, analytical tools, and AI-enabled insights. The role partners with business and technology leaders to define success metrics, evaluate process bottlenecks, and deliver solutions that improve revenue visibility, operational efficiency, cost control, service quality, and decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical depth, business acumen, and hands-on expertise in modern BI, automation, and GenAI tools to create measurable business impact.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Partner with business leaders to frame business problems, identify value drivers, define KPIs, and prioritize analytics opportunities based on expected business impact.
• Have thorough knowledge of the business and the systems like Salesforce, Contact Servicer, SAP, their data pattern, and the data entry system. Identify the anomalies and gaps in the data. Work with business leaders to bridge the gap
• Have detailed knowledge about RM, CSM, Advisor, Affiliate, Plans and their relationships
• Acquire, validate, clean, reconcile, and integrate data from internal and external sources while ensuring data quality, metric consistency, and reporting reliability.
• Build and maintain scalable data models, data marts, dashboards, automated workflows, and management information solutions for business users.
• Design and build analytical tools, reporting utilities, and self-service applications that simplify data access, automate recurring analysis, and support day-to-day decisions.
• Develop advanced dashboards in Power BI or similar BI platforms with intuitive UX, drill-down views, KPI scorecards, trend analysis, exception reporting, and executive-level insights.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques such as segmentation, cohort analysis, forecasting, variance/root-cause analysis, scenario modeling, anomaly detection, and statistical methods to uncover opportunities and risks.
• Convert complex data into actionable recommendations that improve client revenue opportunities, reduce cost, improve operational efficiency, and address process bottlenecks.
• Identify and implement GenAI use cases such as insight summarization, natural-language data exploration, report narration, knowledge search, document/data extraction, and productivity automation with appropriate controls.
• Use advanced tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, AWS/cloud platforms, Salesforce, Advanced Excel, and GenAI solutions to solve business and analytics problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote dashboard/tool adoption, gather feedback, measure benefits, and continuously improve analytics solutions.
• Present findings, business cases, and recommendations to leaders using clear storytelling, quantified impact, and practical implementation steps.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and convert analytics outcomes into process improvements and measurable business value
• Mentor the new joiner/ junior analysts in the team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Business Management, Statistics, Economics, Technology, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, business analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience building analytical tools, advanced dashboards, reporting automation, and self-service BI solutions for business stakeholders.
• Experience applying advanced analytics to solve business problems, generate insights, and influence strategic or operational decisions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Python, SAS/Business Objects, Salesforce CRM, Power Apps/Power Automate, AWS/cloud analytics, and GenAI tools preferred.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to define KPIs, create business cases, track adoption, and deliver measurable business impact.
• Exposure to the US Retirement industry or Financial Services preferred
