Job summary

Live Play Mobile Inc. is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain Python-based services for our live gaming platform. You will work with AWS, databases, and API integrations, while ensuring security, accessibility, and performance. This role offers remote work within the Philippines and a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.

You will participate in code reviews, write tests, and help shape engineering practices alongside international colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, with a proven track record of developing and deploying backend applications.
• AWS Lambda or similar cloud solution experience
• Ability to manage a hosting environment, including database administration as well as scaling applications to handle load changes
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and output quality across the development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance as well as performance tuning
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional or Native level English speaking is a requirement.

Responsibilities
