Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Technical Development Engineer (DevOps | Mandarin Speaker) to manage and optimize infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system reliability for a high-performance sportsbook platform. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, scalability, and continuous delivery in a real-time, high-concurrency betting environment. The ideal candidate has strong DevOps experience and can collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Alibaba Cloud / GCP)
Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and system scalability
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (latency, downtime, failures)
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes
Manage version control and deployment workflows (Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)
Ensure system security, access control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or GCP)
Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Fluent in Mandarin and English (required)
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (DevOps-Focused)

Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with auto‑scaling, load balancing, and distributed systems architecture
Familiarity with message queues and streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with database performance tuning and system optimization
Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets management)
Experience with blue‑green deployment / rolling deployment strategies
Familiarity with incident management and SRE practices (SLI/SLO/SLA)
Experience in sportsbook, fintech, or transaction‑heavy platforms is a plus
