Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - R2R to oversee General Accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.

The role covers Month End Close, Fixed Assets, Intercompany accounting, and GL reconciliations, with emphasis on accuracy and process improvements. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in R2R, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance, along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Economics.
• Masters in Finance is a plus.
• Certifications CFA, CPA, CRCM are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle General Accounting activities including account reconciliations, journal entries and reports.
• Perform Month End Close, Fixed Assets capitalization and maintenance.
• Manage Intercompany Accounting, bank and investment reconciliations, and GL reconciliations.
• Conduct Fixed Assets reconciliations and EScheat reconciliations.
• Support Corporate Reporting, Internal/External Audit and SOX compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain. Review team’s day to day activities, including but not limited to Account Reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests

Month End Close Activities Fixed Assets Capitalization and Maintenance

Intercompany Accounting Bank and Investment Reconciliations General Ledger Reconciliations

Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL) Identifying balancing items and its clearance Escheat Reconciliations

Corporate Reporting Internal and External Audit SOX Compliance

Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements
