Manages the company's financial records, including tasks like processing invoices, managing accounts payable, and receivable, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares the monthly Financial Statements (Balance Sheet/ P&L) and related reports on time and with accuracy.
- Ensures the timely and accurate recording of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by the general accounting team in accordance with accounting standards in effect.
- Prepares monthly schedules of expenses, accrued expenses, and other payables.
- Perform account reconciliation for balance sheets and expense accounts.
- Ensures timely and accurate filing of tax returns and required attachments to BIR.
- Supervises the work of the general accounting team, ensures that the accounting policies and work instructions are adhered to, and resolves discrepancies, and errors with the team and other concerned parties.
- Assists in process improvements and establishing a sound internal control system.
- Assists in monthly analysis of PL results and audits.
- Coordinates with other teams and external parties for required data and documents.
- Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Preparing budgets regularly.
- Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.
- Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and information relative to LOA and BIR examination.
Requirements/ Qualification:
- A degree in Accounting or similar
- Previous working experience as an Accountant/ Accounting Officer
- Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Management System.
- Administration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
Schedule: Mondays thru Saturdays from which Saturdays are WFH set up.
