Job summary

Ubiquity in the Philippines is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and reports for multiple clients.

You'll ensure database stability, performance, and reliability while delivering timely reporting and data migration scripts. The role requires 2–4 years of SQL experience and a BS/MS in CS or related field; the position is based in BGC Taguig with mid-shift or graveyard hours.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related course.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SSRS/SSAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development of high-quality database solutions.
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions.
• Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention.
• Perform regular database management duties including backups and audits.
• Ensure that SQL databases remain accessible and stable.
• Analyze data requirements and review ongoing business report needs.
• Build useful reporting deliverables and propose new queries.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
• Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.
