Responsibilities

• Install/upgrade Database Server as needed.
• Liaise with management on critical issues for Database Operations.
• Monitor and document backups and scheduled jobs.
• Escalate problems to Team Manager when needed.
• Provide timely solutions and assist staff on database requests.
• Collaborate with database users to provide consultations based on business needs.
• Monitor and maintain security of databases and related systems.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning inputs.
• Manage database storage structures and parameters as required by developers.
• Keep systems updated with latest patches for data integrity and security.
