Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce spa policies, procedures, and service standards.

  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the entire spa facility.

  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints effectively and promptly.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for all spa team members.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, reinforce standards, and encourage team engagement.

  • Ensure staff adherence to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

  • Champion a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest receives personalized and memorable experiences.

  • Monitor guest feedback (e.g., surveys, online reviews) and implement improvements as needed.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey from booking to departure.

  • Develop and manage the spa's budget, controlling expenses and optimizing revenue.

  • Analyze sales data, treatment utilization, and retail performance to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Develop and implement promotional strategies, packages, and membership programs to drive revenue.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote spa services and retail products.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and reporting.

  • Research and recommend new spa treatments, products, and equipment to keep the spa competitive and innovative.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the spa and wellness sector.

  • Ensure all services are performed to the highest professional standards.

  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure all spa equipment is in good working order and facilities are well-maintained.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in spa operations management, with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong understanding of spa treatments, retail products, and industry best practices.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

  • Certification in spa management, cosmetology, or a related field (a plus).
