A leading company in the wellness sector is seeking a Spa Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the daily operations of their spa. The role involves ensuring smooth service delivery, managing a budget, and promoting a positive team environment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least two years of experience in spa management, along with strong leadership and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Develop, implement, and enforce spa policies, procedures, and service standards.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the entire spa facility.
Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints effectively and promptly.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for all spa team members.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, reinforce standards, and encourage team engagement.
Ensure staff adherence to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Champion a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest receives personalized and memorable experiences.
Monitor guest feedback (e.g., surveys, online reviews) and implement improvements as needed.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey from booking to departure.
Develop and manage the spa's budget, controlling expenses and optimizing revenue.
Analyze sales data, treatment utilization, and retail performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and implement promotional strategies, packages, and membership programs to drive revenue.
Work closely with the marketing team to promote spa services and retail products.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and reporting.
Research and recommend new spa treatments, products, and equipment to keep the spa competitive and innovative.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the spa and wellness sector.
Ensure all services are performed to the highest professional standards.
Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure all spa equipment is in good working order and facilities are well-maintained.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in spa operations management, with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of spa treatments, retail products, and industry best practices.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Certification in spa management, cosmetology, or a related field (a plus).
