Our Clients in the Philippines invites a seasoned Solutions Architect to design and govern enterprise solutions for the life insurance sector. You will drive the architecture across domains, ensure alignment with governance standards, and provide technical leadership to project teams throughout delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in solution architecture, strong knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory requirements, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering; master's preferred.
• 5+ years experience as Solutions Architect in life insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory requirements.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, integration, and best practices.
• Certifications such as TOGAF or AWS/Solutions Architect are desirable.

The ideal candidate combines strong solution architecture expertise with in-depth knowledge of life insurance products, business processes, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and govern end-to-end solution architectures for a designated business domain, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.


• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to translate strategic technology direction into practical solution designs.


• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to solution designers and development teams throughout project delivery.


• Review, validate, and approve solution designs to ensure compliance with architectural principles, technology standards, and business requirements.


• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.


• Design solutions that improve customer experience, optimize business processes, and support digital transformation initiatives.


• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, software products, and third-party solutions based on business and technical requirements.


• Oversee solution implementation, including integration with existing enterprise applications and platforms.


• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant industry regulations, security standards, and organizational governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably within the life insurance or insurance industry.


• Strong understanding of life insurance products, policy administration processes, and industry regulatory requirements.


• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application and solution architectures.


• Solid knowledge of modern architecture patterns, cloud platforms, system integration, and software development best practices.


• Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.


• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
