Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Solution Architect to act as the technical authority across a portfolio of digital products on a shared TypeScript/Node.js stack and AWS. You will guide architecture governance, security remediation, and resilience hardening while aligning engineering and stakeholders on technical direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solution architecture across distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS-based architectures and security remediation.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong written communication for ADRs and runbooks.
• Proficiency in English (B2+/C1).

Responsibilities

• Assess and document current architecture across products and highlight risks.
• Validate architecture decisions for consistency with standards.
• Own security remediation backlog across services.
• Lead resilience hardening and reliability patterns.
• Drive cloud account separation and restrict non-production access.
• Oversee infrastructure-as-code practices and portfolio-wide standards.
• Guide platform initiatives like pipeline security scanning and metrics foundations.
• Mentor pod leads on architecture decision-making and risk assessment.
• Review AI coding assistant outputs for safety and correctness.
