Job summary

Airnergy and Renewables, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with supervisory experience for solar PV installations. The role requires coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring safety and on-time project completion.

You will liaise with the Project Manager and client representatives to resolve site issues and drive productive work outputs. Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and 5+ years in related roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Valid Professional Engineer license is required.
• Minimum 2 years in Solar PV installation.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical equipment engineering or related supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of engineering software preferred.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and data management skills.
• Valid driver's license; able to drive any vehicle types.
• Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Push work as scheduled
• 2. Coordinate no. of manpower, materials, plant, and equipment required for the works.
• 3. Supervise sub-contractors with their respective task assigned.
• 4. Assess project accomplishments.
• 5. Assess sub-contractor billings on accomplishments.
• 6. Follow-up drawings, and shop-working drawings required for the works.
• 7. Promote safety and harmonious relationship at work.
• 8. Disseminate instructions clearly to sub-contractors for the day's targets of completion.
• 9. Collate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from sub-contractors.
• 10. Coordinate closely with client counterpart on work schedule and accomplishment on site.
• 11. Resolve issues on site in coordination with and approval from the Project Manager and/or Head of Operations.
• 12. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports to the Project Manager and/or Head of Operations.
• 13. Introduce best practices for efficient and productive work output.
• 14. Promote best construction practices and avoid reworks.
• 15. Good working relationship with higher level management and with a direct superior at site - Project Manager.
• 16. Other tasks that the Engineering Head/VP - Operations may assign.

Qualifications:

• 1. Graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2. With a valid Professional License.
• 3. With a minimum of 2 years' experience in Solar PV installation.
• 4. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in Electrical Equipment Engineering, Protection Engineer, Power Plant, Technical Services Contractor, or Manufacturing in a Supervisory role.
• 5. With strong leadership skills.
• 6. Proficient in MS Office.
• 7. Strong computer skills. Knowledge of Engineering Software and Applications are preferred.
• 8. Good interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
• 9. Good organizational skills.
• 10. Data organizational and attention to detail skills.
• 11. Can drive manual and automatic vehicle types and with a valid Driver's License.
• 12. Willing to be assigned to any point of the Philippines.
