Solar Generation Renewable Energy International Corporation seeks a Compliance and Land Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end land sourcing, due diligence, and negotiations for solar and BESS projects in Luzon. The role covers permitting, ROW, and coordination with DOE, ERC, BOI, and LGUs.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in land acquisition or regulatory compliance, strong documentation skills, and willingness to travel to project sites. Central Luzon knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management, Legal Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Planning or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, land acquisition, real estate, ROW, or renewable energy project development.
  • Hands-on experience in processing government permits, clearances, certifications, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of coordinating with government agencies such as DOE, ERC, BOI, LGUs, DENR/EMB, DAR, DA, BFAR, NGCP, and others.
  • Experienced in land sourcing, research, identification, evaluation, and acquisition for renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Capable of preliminary property due diligence and reviewing land documents (TCT/OCT, tax declarations, cadastral and survey plans, etc.).
  • Experience coordinating with landowners, heirs, surveyors, legal teams, LGUs, and government agencies.
  • Strong negotiation, documentation, records management, follow-up, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage applications from filing to approval or release.
  • Computer literate and proficient in preparing reports and project trackers.
  • Willing to travel frequently and conduct fieldwork within Luzon.
  • Knowledge of Central Luzon is an advantage.
  • Ability to drive a four‑wheel vehicle with a valid license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end land acquisition activities: site sourcing, research, evaluation, negotiation, and securing land for solar and BESS projects.
  • Conduct preliminary property due diligence and verify land ownership and supporting documents.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate land-related risks affecting development timelines and approvals.
  • Coordinate with landowners, heirs, surveyors, legal teams, LGUs, and government agencies.
  • Secure and manage Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements for transmission lines, substations, and facilities.
  • Prepare, submit, monitor, and follow up on permits, clearances, certifications, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with DOE, ERC, BOI, LGUs, DENR/EMB, DAR, DA, BFAR, NGCP, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Process permitting and compliance for pre-development, development, and operational stages.
  • Assist in securing DOE certifications and approvals for renewable energy projects.
  • Manage applications for BOI Certificates of Registration and other incentives.
  • Assist in securing ERC Certificates of Compliance for operational projects.
  • Support environmental permitting requirements including ECC processing and DENR requirements.
  • Coordinate with NCIP for Certificates of Non-Overlap when applicable.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, municipalities, landowners, and partners to expedite requirements.
  • Represent Solar Generation Renewable Energy International Corporation in meetings with LGUs and national agencies regarding permits and land concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of landowner communications, agreements, permits, and trackers.
  • Establish a project monitoring system for renewable energy projects under MRC and subsidiaries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable project sites, managing land acquisition and right-of-way requirements, and ensuring compliance with government, regulatory, and permitting requirements.

  14. Develop and maintain professional relationships with government agencies, municipalities, local authorities, landowners, and project partners to help facilitate and expedite project requirements.

  15. Conduct meetings and represent Solar Generation Renewable Energy International Corporation in coordination with LGUs, national government agencies, and project partners regarding permits, compliance, and land‑related concerns.

  16. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of landowner communications, agreements, permits, applications, approvals, trackers, reports, and other project documentation.

  17. Establish and maintain a project monitoring and reporting system covering renewable energy projects under MRC and its subsidiaries.

  18. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
