The Software Quality Management / Software Tester is responsible for ensuring that all software applications, digital platforms, and internal systems used by the company meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The role involves designing test plans, executing test cases, identifying system defects, and collaborating with developers and project teams to deliver stable and efficient technology solutions.
Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
Conduct functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Perform manual and/or automated testing (depending on project requirements).
Ensure application features meet business requirements and comply with company quality standards.
Identify, document, and report software bugs and performance issues using the company’s defect tracking tools.
Work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to validate defects and retest resolutions.
Monitor and track the status of defects through closure.
Participate in the development and improvement of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit requirements, and internal quality processes.
Provide recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Digital, Broadcast Operations, Data, Product Management).
Prepare complete and accurate documentation including test results, quality reports, and release notes.
Support business users during UAT and system rollout.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 1–3 years experience in Software Testing, QA, or Software Quality Management (experience in media/broadcast/digital platforms is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices.
Hands‑on experience in manual testing; automation testing experience is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Katalon).
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps).
Basic understanding of APIs, databases (SQL), and web/mobile technologies.
