Qualifications

• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Experience performing automation and manual testing.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with defect tracking tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Perform API testing for RESTful services using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing across web apps and backend services.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
• Validate API responses, JSON payloads, authentication, and backend data integrity.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts throughout SDLC.
• Support automation initiatives by expanding regression coverage and improving testing efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements.

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer I with strong experience in Tricentis Tosca, API Testing, and Automation Testing to support enterprise‑grade web applications and backend services. This role will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automated and manual testing across modern web technologies, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based applications within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys building automation, validating APIs, executing end-to-end testing, and collaborating closely with developers to deliver reliable, high‑quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.

• Perform API Testing for RESTful services using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.

• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing across web applications and backend services.

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.

• Validate API responses, JSON payloads, authentication, and backend data integrity.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.

• Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Support automation initiatives by expanding regression automation coverage and improving testing efficiency.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards, automation frameworks, and software quality processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Automation Testing.

• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.

• Strong experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.

• Experience performing Automation Testing and Manual Testing.

• Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent defect management tools.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing applications built with Java, Spring Framework, or React.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JWT Authentication.

• Experience validating backend data using SQL.

• Exposure to cloud-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, or Jenkins.

• Knowledge of enterprise software development and modern automation practices.
