Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a software engineer to help build next-gen payments features for GPay for Business. You will work on Flutter-based code, review peers, and design APIs while collaborating with product managers and UX designers. AI tooling will be leveraged to accelerate development workflows.

The role spans full-stack work and mobile application development, with opportunities to switch teams as projects evolve in Google’s fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code in Flutter for the GPay for Business Applications.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute across the full stack, including designing and integrating with server-side APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and implement user-facing features.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance and accelerate development workflows.
