Giftaway Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain the web platform, handling both backend and frontend tasks and applying object-oriented programming to enhance software quality.

You will write clean code, test thoroughly, fix defects, and collaborate with product managers to define requirements, aiming for reliable, scalable software that supports our eGift platform for major local merchants.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient in Back-end/Front-end Web Development, Software Development, and Programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good understanding of database systems and version control.
• Experience with cloud-based services and deployment would be helpful.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
