MicroSourcing in Eastwood, Quezon City is seeking a Software Engineer (C++) to modify and enhance Chromium code for a secure remote browser solution. You will collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.

The role requires 2–3 years of C++ on Linux, modern C++11+, Linux tools, and unit testing with GoogleTest. You’ll join an Agile team and benefit from healthcare, transportation allowance, and opportunities for career growth.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools, including Git, GDB, GCC/Clang, and Linux development environments.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience using unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 2-3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools, including Git, GDB, GCC/Clang, and Linux development environments.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience working with open-source browsers such as Chromium or Firefox.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.

Includes a 10% transportation allowance on top of your salary package.
