ViewQwest is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Information Systems team. You will work across full‑stack development, systems integration, and internal tooling, taking ownership of features end‑to‑end and guiding junior teammates as needed.

You’ll collaborate on RESTful APIs, third‑party integrations, and AI-assisted coding workflows. The role emphasizes independent, proactive problem solving and strong cross‑team communication in an on‑site setting in the Philippines.

Formación

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and third‑party system integrations.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for coding, debugging, or documentation.
• Comfortable with Git and standard version control workflows, including branching and code reviews.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on well‑scoped tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, QA, and other engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain features across front‑end (React) and back‑end (PHP/Laravel or similar) applications with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to the design of internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Implement and maintain APIs and third‑party integrations (billing systems, ticketing, messaging, identity verification, etc.).
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) effectively as part of your daily workflow, and help share best practices with the team.
• Debug and troubleshoot moderately complex issues across the stack, including with the help of AI tools where appropriate.
• Provide guidance and code review feedback to junior engineers.
