Job summary

Anthro Group is seeking a skilled full-stack software developer for a remote, full-time position based in the Philippines. You will work across the SDLC, from requirements through deployment, and on troubleshooting, upgrades, and feedback integration.

Strong English skills are essential, with a willingness to learn Japanese. The role emphasizes software design, test-driven development, and collaboration in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a full-stack software developer, software engineer, or similar role.
• Experience in a test-driven environment (unit testing, integration testing, system testing, scenario testing).
• Experience in software design.
• Developed programs using Java, C#, C++, PostgreSQL, CSS, and framework/systems Spring, Angular.
• Knowledge in database setup (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres).
• Experience working in agile or semi-agile methodology.
• Strong English communication skills.
• N4/N3 certification preferred (CERTIFICATION must be provided).
• Willing to be trained and learn the Nihongo/Japanese language.
• This is a full-time role and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirement analysis to testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedure.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.
