Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development; strong foundation in OOP, backend systems, and RESTful API integration.
• Proficient in Java (8 or higher), Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven/Gradle.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N4 or higher preferred) and working proficiency in English.
• Experience working in cross-cultural, offshore/onshore development environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret functional specifications and documentation written in Japanese, and collaborate with bilingual teams for accurate implementation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment of software components.
