Set the bar for effective use of AI-assisted development on the team.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and contribute to sound technical decision-making.
Serve as a senior voice in AWS design decisions, contributing to service selection, networking, security boundaries, scaling, and cost, and carrying cloud work end to end rather than handing it off.
Demonstrate ownership of architectural decisions and the ability to explain and defend technology choices.
Partner with our Tech Lead to document and broaden knowledge of our AWS environment.
Own and contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as AWS CDK or Terraform.
Design and implement event-driven systems to enable real-time processing and decision-making, enhancing the agility and responsiveness of our logistics operations.

Leverage your understanding of logistics processes and systems to design and implement software solutions that optimize supply chain operations.
Apply software engineering and technical expertise to support solutions within the logistics and intermodal freight domain.
Architect and develop robust APIs for seamless integration with third-party systems, ensuring efficient data exchange and interoperability.
Apply strong API design and development practices to build scalable and reliable integrations.
Lead efforts in designing, implementing, and managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, ensuring seamless communication between our platform and external partners.
EDI experience is considered an advantage but is not a mandatory requirement; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
