Qualifications

• Five years of experience delivering production-grade software as a full stack engineer.
• Experience building backend services with Python or Java.
• Experience building modern web apps using React, Angular, or Vue with HTML/CSS.
• Experience deploying and operating apps on AWS and/or Azure with CI/CD and monitoring.
• Experience designing REST APIs with authentication, validation, and logging.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience delivering AI-enabled features using LLMs, NLP, or ML services, incl. prompts and integration.
• Experience with Git-based workflow and disciplined SDLC practices.

Job Summary

As an Operations Automation Associate in Commercial & Investment Bank, you conduct intermediate intelligent automation and business analysis to gather requirements from the Operational Function to translate process improvements and solutions for operations efficiencies. You gather information, execute, and implement automation and the digitization strategy to deliver the outcomes of the automation to support the Operations function.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders and analytics partners to support automation delivery end-to-end, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to the operational automation strategy and define metrics such as objectives and key results, key performance indicators, and benefits tracking
• Partner with technology teams to create or enable infrastructure that supports both traditional coding and low-code automation capabilities
• Select an appropriate end-to-end automation approach (for example, workflow automation, robotic process automation, decisioning, intelligent document processing, or AI-assisted triage) and translate requirements into a feasible delivery plan
• Define outcomes and measurement (for example, capacity creation, risk reduction, cycle-time reduction, or error-rate reduction) and drive delivery to realize benefits
• Drive user-centered design by translating user needs into practical workflow and interface decisions
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to improve reliability
• Support post-delivery enablement through training, adoption support, and feedback-driven enhancements
• Coach and mentor junior team members on automation tools and delivery practices, including contributing to training materials
• Maintain documentation discipline to support governance, controls sign-off, and audit readiness

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Five years of experience delivering production-grade software as a full stack engineer
• Experience building backend services using Python or Java.
• Experience building modern web applications using React, Angular, or Vue, including HTML and CSS, responsive design, and component-based development
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Amazon Web Services and or Microsoft Azure, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, automated testing, monitoring and alerting, and incident triage
• Experience designing and consuming REST application programming interfaces, including authentication and authorization, input validation, error handling, resiliency patterns, and logging and telemetry
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (for example, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle)
• Experience delivering AI-enabled features using large language models, natural language processing, or machine learning services, including prompt design, tool or application programming interface integration, retrieval patterns, evaluation, and reliability and data-handling guardrails
• Experience using a Git-based workflow, including code reviews and disciplined software delivery lifecycle and change practices

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar certifications
• Experience building AI solutions with LLM orchestration patterns (e.g., tool/function calling, agentic workflows), RAG, vector search, and/or embedding-based retrieval.
• Experience with model evaluation (offline test sets, regression testing for prompts, quality/safety metrics) and production controls for AI features.
• Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (.NET/C#, Azure services) and/or Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps).
• Hands-on experience with robotic process automation and or workflow automation; exposure to optical character recognition and intelligent document processing is a plus
• Exposure to process mining and translating insights into automation opportunities.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing reusable components/frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining unit and integration test suites; experience with user interface automation testing tools is a plus
