Job summary

Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineers to design, build, and deliver new products and services at scale. You will work with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to translate broad problems into robust software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional software development experience and proficiency in at least one programming language. A CS degree is preferred, and a strong drive to innovate will help you succeed at Amazon.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.

• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
