Job summary

Deltek Systems Philippines, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions across the software development lifecycle.

You will enhance testing frameworks, develop utilities, and create end-to-end and API test suites. Ideal candidates have strong ReactJS and TypeScript skills, hands-on Playwright testing experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted tools like Claude Code.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions across the software development lifecycle

• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks using modern tools and best practices

• Develop automation utilities, scripts, and internal tools that improve engineering productivity

• Create and maintain end-to-end, API, integration, and regression test automation suites

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to improve development efficiency and automation coverage

• Collaborate with engineering team to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization

• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and workflows that provide visibility into quality and delivery metrics

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation frameworks and deployment pipelines

• Promote automation-first and AI-first engineering practices across the organization

About you

• Strong experience with ReactJS and TypeScript

• Hands-on experience developing automated tests using Playwright

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar coding assistants

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills

• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks

• Understanding of modern software development practices including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and automated quality assurance

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
