DXC Technology is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to lead licensing, compliance, and governance across a large IT estate. You will administer SAM tools, drive audits, and partner with stakeholders to optimize software costs and risk management.

The role emphasizes collaboration and process improvements within a global infrastructure services context, offering growth opportunities and exposure to enterprise-scale SAM initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Asset Management experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing SAM initiatives in large environments.
• Experience with software licensing, compliance, entitlement, renewal and audit management.
• Experience with SAM tools such as Flexera, HP Asset Manager (HPAM), ServiceNow SAM Pro, Snow Software.
• Experience with software inventory and lifecycle management.
• Experience with asset governance and compliance reporting.
• Experience with tool implementation, migration and transformation projects.
• Experience with dashboard, metrics and reporting development.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership and strategic planning skills.
• May require ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing, compliance, entitlement and renewal processes.
• Oversee software audit management activities to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risk.
• Administer and utilize SAM tools such as Flexera, HPAM, ServiceNow SAM Pro or Snow Software.
• Oversee software inventory and lifecycle management across the IT estate.
• Drive asset governance initiatives and produce compliance reporting for stakeholders.
• Oversee tool implementation, migration and transformation projects for SAM platforms.
• Develop dashboards, metrics and reporting to track software compliance and asset performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements within SAM operations.
• Manage software compliance risk and support enterprise risk management efforts.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, providing oversight and strategic planning.
