Position : Social Media Specialist

Working Schedule : 8a-5p EST

Salary Range :$1000-$1500 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our digital presence. This is a full-time, remote role working directly with clinic ownership to shape and grow our brand voice across social media, email, and blog content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of content creation, digital strategy, and patient-first storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Primary: Social Media Calendar, Daily Posting, Engagement, Content Editing

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Build and manage a consistent content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Post daily content (reels, stories, carousels, photos, and captions) aligned with our brand tone
  • Manage all community engagement — respond to comments, direct messages, and engage with followers to foster trust and connection
  • Maintain a professional, polished, and on-brand visual style across all content

Content Creation & Editing

  • Edit and repurpose short-form video content using in-clinic footage
  • Write compelling, concise captions and headlines that resonate with patients and the community
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to gather stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and educational content

Secondary: Blog Writing, SEO Research, Email Campaigns, Monthly Reports

Blog Writing & SEO

  • Write 2-4 blog posts per month focused on chiropractic care, physical therapy, wellness, and patient education
  • Perform basic keyword research and optimize posts for SEO using tools like Google Keyword Planner or similar

Email Marketing

  • Design and send engaging email campaigns to our list of 15,000-20,000 patients and subscribers
  • Write updates, promotions, and health-related content that supports patient education and retention
  • Track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize future sends

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Participate in regular team check-ins via Google Meet
  • Use Slack or Microsoft Teams to stay connected with ownership and clinic staff
  • Track performance metrics across social platforms and email; provide monthly reporting with insights and recommendations

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation (healthcare industry experience a plus)
  • Stable internet and backup options
  • Proven ability to grow and manage online communities and increase engagement organically
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to brand tone and patient-first communication
  • Experience with short-form video editing (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Adobe Premiere Rush, or CapCut)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and blog writing best practices
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple content streams and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with regular team collaboration
