Job summary

Sortr Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager/Virtual Assistant to own our digital presence. You will craft campaigns, design content, manage paid ads, and help verify leads for the sales team. Onsite hours are 6AM–2PM, aligning with local business operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in social media, marketing campaigns experience, and proficiency with Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager. Canva and Adobe design skills are a plus for high-quality visuals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social accounts for a business or organisation.
• Strong experience with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager.
• Ability to create and edit professional images and marketing assets.

Job Title: Social Media Manager/Virtual Assistant
Role Type: Full Time
Specifics: Onsite - 6AM - 2PM

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager/Virtual Assistant to take ownership of our digital platforms and online brand presence. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies, create high-quality and engaging visual content, manage paid campaigns, grow our online presence, and support the verification and qualification of leads generated through our digital channels.

The successful candidate will have strong time-management and organizational skills, experience with marketing campaigns, familiarity with Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager, and the ability to analyze campaign performance and turn insights into actionable recommendations

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media and digital marketing strategies, content calendars, schedules, and campaigns aligned with company objectives.
• Create, design, edit, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant digital platforms, including graphics, images, short-form videos, captions, and promotional materials.
• Monitor campaign performance, including reach, engagement, CTR, CPL, conversions, and ROI, and recommend improvements based on performance data.
• Verify, qualify, and organize leads generated through social media and digital channels before passing them to the Sales Team.
• Support manager with business administration when time permits.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organisation - Australian trades/services environment will be highly regarded
• Strong experience with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, and Meta Ads Manager.
• Ability to create and edit professional images and marketing assets rather than relying solely on template-based designs.
• Creative, proactive, and able to independently identify opportunities to improve the company's social media presence and marketing performance.
