TITLE: Social Media Manager

The Role:

Social Media Manager to join our team. As a key member in this role, you will be instrumental in driving brand awareness and audience engagement by overseeing the regional social media editorial content distribution, strategising campaigns, and managing our social media presence across platforms in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing lead and regional teams to develop and implement monthly editorial calendars that support awareness and engagement goals across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Ideate and produce original, engaging content that aligns with social media strategies, brand messaging, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with video editors, designers and copywriters to ensure content combines impactful visuals for maximum engagement.
  • Oversee the scheduling of content across various social platforms, ensuring regular and strategic content delivery.
  • Stay on top of current trends, news, and events to produce relevant and timely content.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to localise content and targeting parameters for their markets
  • Leverage social media analytics to assess the performance of content, using insights to refine and optimise strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activities and conduct ongoing analysis of online conversations to identify new opportunities for content innovation.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Diploma or degree in Public Relations, Media, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in implementing social media strategies and managing content for social platforms.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media campaigns and using social media management tools.
  • A creative eye for visual storytelling and the ability to distil complex topics into snackable, engaging content.
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple platforms and projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of medical terminology is a plus.
